Tell 2012 - Ryan Connelly
Really Sir? Could you not of given us a nice short film to watch, I wont be sleeping for weeks now! But it was really really good, the camera movement and sound were amazing, they made it so tense and kept creating/changing the atmosphere! Should I make comments about the video on my blog as well? I have downloaded their storyboard template but FrameForge3D website looked a bit complex so I only watched the demo online.
ReplyDeleteI thought the clip of the film was really good and the camera angles were great too, I especially like the reverse angles at the start, it really draws in the audience because the director wants us to keep watching. The sound made it even better, it made we want to know what was coming up next, it was so tense.
ReplyDeleteThe film clip was good and showed detailed camera angles, I particularly think the sound was good! It felt like a very tense atmosphere they had created which makes the audience feel very involved.
ReplyDeleteThat was horrible!! I will be having nightmares for weeks!! But, from a media point of view I think it was really good! There was a variety of effective camera angle and shots which helped to make the film believable because it showed things from different angles but the shots still married up (things were still in the same place from different views). The other significant part of the film that helped to draw in the audience was the sound. It helped to build up suspense and create tension. Overall I think it was a really good and effective film especially when considering the unprofessional camera crew and the reasonably small budget.
ReplyDeleteThe clip was very good and really build up the tension before revealing the action i also like how in the first few shots the camera is never still it is always bobbing and moving around which again adds some tension almost like a dutch angle shot
ReplyDeleteA little on the gloomy side, but really very good! At the beggining of the film I was very drawn in by the fast moving camera shots moving back and forth from both characters, being very intreged by what the whole commotion was about. Also, I thought the sound throughout the film was brilliently done, it built up the tention perfectly and really unnerved me. The camera shots and angles also contributed to the tention as there were many shots that I thought could be used to scare the viewer but the director waited for the less obvious angle/shot to scare the person watching. The main character a bit mean though, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteThe film clip used a wide range of camera angles and clever shots. It shows how long it would have taken to make as they used so many brilliant shots and views. The film was also exceptionally made and the angles helped create the tension and I was very hooked in by the clip.
ReplyDeletethe fast moving camera switching through reverse shots, gave the feel of a fast paced argument.liked the soundtrack used, the way the camera stayed out side whilst he killed her was effective because it left it to your imagination. also i found that the high angle shot over the knife and the medium shot slowly zooming in on the saw gave insight into his twisted psyche.
ReplyDeleteNormally I love watching horror films, they never really scare me but they do make me jump, but this terrified me haha. I love the use of music to create such tension and a creepy atmosphere. The camera movements are so smooth you almost forget you're watching a film it's as if you're really there. The actors are also incredible, the argument at the beginning made me feel as if it was private and I shouldn't really be watching it because of the smoothness of the acting. Amazing film I wish it lasted longer!!
